Air China Cargo raises A350 freighter order to 10 units
Bangladesh, May 27 -- The Chinese carrier initially ordered six A350Fs in November 2025 with options for additional units. Multiple media reports earlier this month indicated the airline intended to sign a supplementary agreement to convert four of those options into firm orders.
Wang Hongyan, Vice President of Air China Cargo, said the additional order is a strategic move to optimize fleet structure and expand transport capacity, laying a foundation for the company's long-term development.
Benoit de Saint-Exupery, Airbus executive vice president for commercial aircraft sales, noted the expanded order reflects Air China Cargo's confidence in the product and reaffirms the A350F's position as a leading next-generation freighter.
