India, May 28 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday directed the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Union Territory administration to further intensify the crackdown on the narco-terror ecosystem operating across Jammu and Kashmir, stressing the need for a stronger anti-drug mechanism to tackle the growing menace.

Chairing a high-level review meeting at Lok Bhavan here, the Lieutenant Governor reviewed the progress of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan and instructed the Director General of Police to strengthen the Anti-Narcotics Task Force by deploying additional manpower to improve enforcement and surveillance.
