India, Aug. 21 -- The Monsoon Session of the Haryana Assembly will commence here from August 27, Chief Minister Nayab Singh informed.

Governor Prof. Asim Ghosh has approved the monsoon session of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. The Assembly Secretariat issued a notification on Tuesday, setting the monsoon session on August 27. The House will be adjourned after the first day's proceedings. Raksha Bandhan is next on August 28. August 29 and 30 will be holidays as they are Saturdays and Sundays.

It is expected that after August 27, the House will resume proceedings on Monday, August 31. September 1st may be the last day of the House proceedings. A final decision on this draft will be taken at a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee....
