India, June 25 -- President Droupadi Murmu conferred the Padma Awards 2026 on several distinguished personalities from the fields of sports, cinema, music, public affairs, science and social service during the second Civil Investiture Ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. A total of 65 Padma Awards, including two Padma Vibhushan, seven Padma Bhushan and 56 Padma Shri awards, were presented during the ceremony.

Among the prominent recipients was former India cricket captain Rohit Sharma, who was honoured with the Padma Shri for his outstanding contribution to Indian cricket.
