India, July 7 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav has threatened legal action against BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, demanding that he delete a social media post alleging that Yadav had been in telephonic contact with Ramshankar alias Tinnu Yadav, one of the accused in the Ayodhya Ram Temple donation case.

In a post on X, Akhilesh Yadav termed the allegation "false" and gave Dubey 10 minutes to remove the post. He warned that if the post was not deleted, an FIR would be lodged immediately. The SP chief also asked other social media users sharing similar claims to delete their posts and issue a public apology or face legal action.
