India, Aug. 6 -- Aban Ahmad, the youngest son of slain gangster-turned-politician and former MP Atiq Ahmad, was killed in a road accident on the Jhansi-Kanpur highway on Thursday while travelling to meet his elder brother Ali Ahmad, who is lodged in Jhansi jail.

According to police, Aban was travelling from Prayagraj to Jhansi with four others when their speeding car lost control and crashed into a road divider near the Poonch police station area in Jhansi district.

The impact of the crash was severe. Aban and one of his companions died on the spot, while the three other occupants suffered serious injuries.
