India, May 28 -- The Madhya Pradesh High Court has quashed the anticipatory bail granted to former judge Giribala Singh, the mother-in-law of 33-year-old former model-actor Twisha Sharma, who was found dead under suspicious circumstances earlier this month.

The development comes as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) aggressively moves forward with its probe after officially taking over the case on Monday.

In a detailed 17-page order, High Court vacation judge Devnarayan Mishra allowed the applications seeking cancellation of the bail.
