New Delhi, May 7 -- South Korean electronics major Samsung is expanding its enterprise business in India with a sharper focus on AI-powered connected ecosystems, as the company looks to tap rising demand for integrated digital transformation solutions across industries.

The company on Thursday said it is moving beyond its traditional hardware-led approach to offer end-to-end enterprise solutions spanning devices, displays, mobility, AI platforms and security, targeting sectors such as banking, retail, healthcare, education and hospitality.

As part of the strategy, Samsung has set up Business Experience Studios (BES) in Gurugram and Mumbai, designed as live demonstration and co-creation hubs for enterprises evaluating AI-led deployments and connected workplace environments.

The move comes at a time when global technology companies are increasingly positioning AI-enabled ecosystems-not standalone products-as the next phase of enterprise technology spending. In India, enterprises and public sector organisations are accelerating investments in automation, smart infrastructure, connected devices and cybersecurity as part of broader digital transformation initiatives.

"At Samsung, we believe the future of enterprise lies in AI-powered, connected ecosystems that move beyond standalone devices to intelligent, adaptive environments," said Puneet Sethi, Vice President, Enterprise Business, Samsung India.

According to the company, the studios showcase industry-specific use cases ranging from immersive customer engagement systems in retail to secure digital interactions for BFSI firms, connected healthcare environments and AI-enabled learning platforms.

Samsung said the BES facilities will also function as collaboration centres where enterprises and partners can co-develop customised solutions aimed at faster deployment and operational scalability.

The company added that it is working across both private and public sector projects aligned with India's digital transformation push, while deepening its presence across enterprise verticals.

The expanded enterprise play aligns with Samsung's broader India strategy as it marks 30 years of operations in the country and seeks to strengthen growth beyond consumer electronics through AI, security and ecosystem-led offerings.
