New Delhi, April 15 -- Progress Software has expanded and relocated its Bengaluru office, signalling a deeper push into India as a strategic hub for artificial intelligence (AI) innovation, talent and global operations.
The new facility, located at Embassy Tech Village, will anchor the company's India Global Capability Centre (GCC) as it scales investments across engineering, product development, customer-facing roles and core business functions.
"India is a critical pillar of our global growth and innovation strategy," said Yogesh Gupta. He added that the expanded Bengaluru office reflects the company's confidence in India's deep technology talent pool and its ambition to build a globally impactful capability centre. The investment is expected to enable stronger cross-team collaboration, faster innovation cycles and improved value delivery to global customers.
Progress has been steadily expanding its India footprint, with operations across Bengaluru, Hyderabad and New Delhi. These centres play a key role in advancing capabilities in AI, data platforms, digital experience solutions and infrastructure management. The company has also built a sizeable base of customer-facing talent in India, with nearly a quarter of its workforce contributing to global sales, marketing, customer support and success functions.
The expansion underscores Bengaluru's position as a key destination for global capability centres, particularly as multinational firms increasingly tap India for both product innovation and customer-facing operations. It also aligns with Progress Software's broader focus on delivering AI-powered solutions and modern digital infrastructure at scale.
As part of its regional engagement, the company is also partnering with The Bodhi Tree Foundation on community initiatives, including the donation of electric wheelchairs, reflecting its focus on inclusive growth alongside business expansion.
