New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- Mumbai-based agrochemicals and speciality chemicals maker Indofil Industries has appointed Vikas Khanna as its Head of Information Technology, strengthening its technology leadership as the company advances enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

Khanna will be responsible for driving the company's IT strategy, modernising enterprise technology infrastructure and supporting business transformation through digital capabilities across manufacturing, supply chain and corporate functions, according to the appointment announcement.

The appointment comes as manufacturing companies increasingly invest in cloud platforms, data analytics, automation and cybersecurity to improve operational efficiency, strengthen supply-chain resilience and enable data-driven decision-making. Indofil, part of the Modi Enterprises group, already runs its core business processes on SAP and has been expanding its technology capabilities to support business operations across domestic and international markets.

Khanna brings more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology leadership, IT infrastructure, digital transformation and business applications. Prior to joining Indofil, he held senior technology leadership positions across manufacturing and industrial organisations, where he led large-scale ERP modernisation, cloud adoption and infrastructure transformation programmes.

His appointment follows a series of leadership changes at Indofil as the company strengthens its executive team to support its next phase of growth. Earlier this year, the company brought in Bharat Khemka as Chief Operating Officer to drive commercial excellence and business expansion.

For Indofil, the IT function is expected to play an increasingly strategic role in connecting manufacturing operations, business applications and digital technologies as industrial companies embrace AI, automation and intelligent enterprise platforms to improve competitiveness.
