New Delhi, April 30 -- India's third-largest IT services provider HCLTech expanded its long-standing partnership with MetLife Stadium, taking on the role of Official AI Partner to the venue as well as NFL teams New York Jets and New York Giants, the company said on Thursday.
The move builds on HCLTech's earlier designation as the stadium's digital transformation partner in 2022, and signals a deeper push into AI-led fan engagement and smart venue operations in the US market.
Under the expanded mandate, HCLTech will explore deploying its artificial intelligence capabilities to create more personalised and scalable fan experiences, while improving safety, connectivity and operational efficiency across the stadium ecosystem.
The partnership also serves as a strategic branding and market expansion lever for HCLTech in the US, particularly in the tri-state region, as the company looks to strengthen relationships with Fortune 500 clients through high-visibility, experience-led engagements.
"HCLTech is an indispensable partner as they enable us to explore how technology can transform the customer experience in meaningful ways," said Ron VanDeVeen, president and CEO of MetLife Stadium.
The deal underscores a broader trend of IT services firms leveraging sports and large venue ecosystems to showcase AI and digital capabilities in real-world, high-scale environments.
The expansion comes as HCLTech continues to deepen its US business, which accounts for a significant share of its overall revenue. The company reported consolidated revenue of $14.7 billion for the 12 months ended March 2026, with North America contributing well over half of its topline.
In its latest quarterly (Q4 FY26) results, HCLTech posted mid-single digit year-on-year revenue growth and maintained operating margins in the 18-19% range, supported by a strong pipeline of large deals.
Recent US engagements have included multi-year digital engineering and cloud transformation contracts across financial services and manufacturing, alongside expanded partnerships with hyperscalers such as Microsoft and Google Cloud-underscoring its continued push to anchor growth in AI-led and platform-driven deals.
