Srilanka, Sept. 6 -- United States (US) Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) Chairperson Laura DiBella and FMC Commissioner Robert J. Harvey will arrive in Sri Lanka today (6). During their five-day stay, DiBella and Harvey will meet with senior Government and maritime leaders.

DiBella will deliver remarks at the 8th Colombo International Maritime and Logistics Conference (IMLC), to be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Colombo, from September 9 to 11 under the theme "Building a World Around Us". Harvey will serve on a panel at the conference.

The visit aims to advance US-Sri Lanka cooperation in maritime trade, investment and the shipping networks connecting American businesses and consumers to markets across the Indo-Pacific.
