SriLanka, May 3 -- Sri Lanka and Bangladesh may soon receive full inbound PayPal functionality comparable to markets such as India, Singapore and the United States, sources close to PayPal India told the Sunday Observer Business last week.

Users in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh can typically make payments via PayPal, but receiving and withdrawing funds remain restricted or unavailable depending on account type and banking integration.

The sources said both Governments are taking steps towards launching full PayPal services, signalling renewed momentum in their digital financial integration.
