SriLanka, May 24 -- Sri Lanka 'A' took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series when they defeated New Zealand 'A' by 56 runs in the second Women's Unofficial T20I played at the Dambulla Stadium yesterday.

The home side piled up 152 for five after electing to bat first with opener Vishmi Gunaratne smashing an unbeaten 57 runs from 49 balls with the help of two sixes and four boundaries.

In reply, the visitors folded up for 96 runs in 19.5 overs with Chamudi Praboda (2/15) and Dewmi Vihanga (3/19) sharing the wickets. The third and final match of the series will be played on Monday at the same venue.
