Srilanka, July 26 -- Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Sujeewa Senasinghe on Friday (24) warned that the Government's grip on power would be short-lived, citing recent political developments in India and claiming that even strong Governments could be forced out by public opposition despite economic achievements.

During the No-Confidence Motion debate against Justice Minister Harshana Nanayakkara, Senasinghe told Parliament that political challenges had emerged within Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration despite India recording an 8.2 per cent economic growth under his leadership.
