Police Clearance system restored
Sri Lanka, Aug. 23 -- Sri Lanka Police has announced that its digital system for processing Police Clearance certificates has been restored, allowing applicants to submit applications through the usual online procedure.
According to the Police Media Division, the digital data system operated by the Police Clearance Division on the 17th floor of the Suhurupaya Building in Battaramulla became inactive at 12.50 p.m. on August 20.
The system is used to process applications, request relevant reports and issue police clearance certificates.
