Sri Lanka, Oct. 11 -- The Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture (PGIA) of the University of Peradeniya will hold its 38th Annual Congress on November 27, under the theme "Steering Agri-Food Systems Towards Resilience", bringing together researchers, policymakers, industry representatives and academics to explore ways of strengthening Sri Lanka's agri-food systems amid growing climate and food security challenges.

The Congress will showcase postgraduate research and provide a platform for discussion on the challenges facing agriculture, including climate change, water scarcity, emerging pests, rising production costs and changing food consumption patterns.
