Srilanka, April 5 -- Two hundred and eighty police constables and constable drivers passed out from the Kalutara Police College on Friday as the Sri Lanka Police faces a severe human resource crisis. With a shortfall of 32,000 officers, the force has stepped up recruitment and is also considering retaining retiring personnel on contract.
