Srilanka, Sept. 6 -- A total of 115,534 people in 35 Divisional Secretariat Divisions across seven districts have been affected by adverse weather conditions associated with El Nino, according to the National Disaster Relief Services Centre (NDRSC).

The latest situation report, released yesterday (5), said the authorities are currently distributing drinking water to 113,354 people from 34,608 families across 34 Divisional Secretariat Divisions.
