SriLanka, July 5 -- A dengue prevention operation will be launched today (5) covering 23 high-risk dengue zones in the Western Province (WP).

The program, coordinated under the Clean Sri Lanka initiative, will be carried out with the joint participation of health authorities, the tri-forces, Police, district and divisional secretariats, Local Government bodies and volunteer organisations.

The operation will strengthen public participation in dengue control efforts while ensuring full coverage of all 23 high-risk areas in the province through coordinated action by the State and community stakeholders.
