SriLanka, Oct. 4 -- Sri Lanka will host an international conference on innovations in rural development from October 7 - 9, bringing together representatives from the 15 member countries of the Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP).

The conference, titled 'Innovations in Rural Development & CIRDAP Knowledge Circuit Dialogue', will be held with the participation of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya and will focus on research, knowledge sharing, capacity building and sustainable rural development.
