Srilanka, April 19 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has imposed a travel ban on suspended Deputy Secretary-General of Parliament Chaminda Kumara Kularatne.

The Parliamentary Staff Advisory Council suspended him in January this year after a preliminary investigation revealed irregularities relating to his initial appointment.

CIABOC is currently conducting an investigation into the matter and the imposition of this travel ban is part of that investigation, it was reported.
