Hunsur, Oct. 27 -- A woman allegedly strangling her drunk husband to death has been reported from Maruthi Layout in the town on Saturday. The deceased is Manjunath (37), a mason, who was residing with his second wife Prema.

A native of Hosur village near Chunchanakatte in Saligrama taluk, Manjunath had married Sudha of Chunchanakatte and the couple have two children. After leaving Sudha, Manjunath had married Prema of Bengaluru and both were residing in Hunsur.

It is learnt that Manjunath was addicted to liquor and used to come home drunk and pick up fights with Prema.
