Mysuru, Oct. 24 -- Cancellation of Vajramushti Kalaga at Mysore Palace

The cancellation of 'Vajramushti Kalaga' during Vijayadashami at Mysore Palace has drawn criticism from the public.

The 'jatties' called off the traditional bout, alleging that the Police had stopped them from entering the Palace where the ritual was scheduled to take place.

Reacting to the cancellation, member of the erstwhile Mysore royal family Pramoda Devi Wadiyar said, she would comment on the issue after gathering complete details.
