UNESCO climate science expo at Palace
Mysuru, Oct. 1 -- A three-day Climate Science Literacy Exhibition titled 'Understanding Climate Today; Building a Sustainable Tomorrow' was held at the Mysore Palace recently.
The exhibition was jointly organised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) Regional Office for South Asia, Hanns Seidel Foundation (Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung e.V.) (HSF) India and the Bherunda Foundation.
The expo featured UNESCO's climate science literacy posters translated into Kannada, combining scientific information, regional relevance and visual storytelling to create awareness about climate change, its causes, consequences and possible responses.
