Mysuru, Aug. 25 -- Over 230 students from Class 6 to PUC, participated in a workshop on the making of eco-friendly clay Ganesha idols, organised by Parisarakkagi Naavu organisation, at the premises of Mathrumandali School, V.V. Mohalla in city yesterday.

Eight professional artists taught the students nuances of making Ganesha idols, that was aptly followed by the students, who gave shape to their imagination and crafted the idol.

Mathrumandali Educational Institutions President Vijayalakshmi Urs, Secretary Vani Prasad, PU College Principal Suresh, Parisarakkagi Naavu's General Secretary Parashurame Gowda, Ravi Bale, Anjana, Shobha, Prabha and others were present.
