Mysuru, Aug. 18 -- Following the conclusion of first phase of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the State yesterday, as many as 5.59 lakh (5,59,340) voters have been removed from ASDDO (Absent, Shifted, Deceased, Duplicated and Others) list in Mysuru district.

During the period of SIR, held from June 30 this year, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) who undertook door-to-door visits, distributed 22.4 lakh (22,40,353) Enumeration Forms and collected the filled in forms and completed the process of digitalisation of the forms.

Mysuru district has a total of 27,99,693 voters, among which 5,59,340 voters have been removed from ASDDO list. In the next phase, revised draft electoral rolls will be published on Aug. 24 till Sept. 2...
