Mysuru, Aug. 27 -- Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) Meenakshi Negi, who has been camping in Mysuru since yesterday, visited Aranya Bhavan at Ashokapuram in city this morning and enquired about the elephants health condition of Dasara jumbos.

Meenakshi Negi was also briefed about tomorrow's event at Mysore Palace during which the Dasara jumbos will be given a grand welcome by the District Administration in the presence of Forest, Environment and Ecology Minister Ramalinga Reddy and District Minister Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah.

The PCCF also spoke to mahouts and kavadis and enquired about the facilities being provided to them at the Aranya Bhavan. Later, she also instructed mahouts to ensure the elephants are taken good care ...
