Mysuru, Oct. 8 -- Case registered against four
Metagalli Police, following an order from a city Court, have registered a case against four persons for cheating a woman of Rs. 18.90 lakh on the pretext of getting her a site.
The woman, identified as 59-year-old Lucy George, is a resident of Note Mudran Nagar and the case has been registered against Umesh and Malligamma of Lokanayakanagar and Arogya Mary and Vinod Khanna of Kumbarakoppal.
Lucy was told that Malligamma and Umesh were selling their site for Rs. 19 lakh. They then got an agreement done and the four received Rs. 18.90 lakh from Lucy who was told to pay Rs. 10,000 at the time of registration.
