Mysuru, Sept. 22 -- Green nets, wall art, rangoli to transform back lanes of Lansdowne Building

The surroundings of the historic Lansdowne Building, including the lanes and alleys that have turned into open urination spots, will soon be transformed into a clean walking path with wall art.

The stretch along the rear wall of the Lansdowne Building on 1st Cross, Jaganmohan Palace Road, is covered with urine stains and has become a spot for open urination.

Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner M.K. Savitha and a team of officers, who inspected the area this morning, were appalled by the condition of the walls, roads and culverts, which have been turned into spots for open urination.
