India, April 24 -- Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Health Officer has issued a ban order on sale of meat on May 1 (Friday) on account of Buddha Poornima. Hence, all meat shops and slaughter houses have been ordered to down the shutters on the said date, according to a press release.
