Bengaluru, Aug. 17 -- In a latest appointment, the State Government has named Srinivas Maane, Congress MLA from Hanagal Assembly segment in Haveri district, as the new Chairman of Karnataka Housing Board (KHB).

The post had fallen vacant after Arasikere MLA K.M. Shivalingegowda was inducted into the State Cabinet on Aug. 3.
