Mysuru, Aug. 23 -- With the tenure of Dr. K.R. Dakshayani, who was serving as the Dean and Director of Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI) ending on Aug. 18, the Government has appointed Dr. Mudassir Azeez Khan, Professor & Head, Department of Community Medicine, MMC&RI, as In-charge Dean and Director with effect from Aug. 19.

Dr. Azeez, who was born in Cheluvamba Hospital here, will now function as the In-charge Dean and Director until a regular Dean and Director is appointed or until further orders of the Govt.

Dr. Dakshayani will continue to serve as a faculty of Anatomy Department of MMC&RI.
