Mysuru, Sept. 3 -- Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Rizwan Arshad, who was on his first visit to the city on Tuesday after becoming a Minister, visited Suttur Mutt at the foot of Chamundi Hill and sought the blessings of Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji.

He also held talks with the Seer on different issues for over half-an-hour and had breakfast at the Mutt.

Earlier in the day, Arshad visited St. Philomena's College at Bannimantap and interacted with the students. During the interaction, the Minister recalled his association with the College and reminisced on his student days at Mysuru.
