Mysore/Mysuru, May 13 -- Unauthorised structures built on Govt. land in Nachanahalli demolished

Continuing its drive against encroachment of Government lands, the Mysuru Development Authority (MDA) reclaimed about one acre of encroached land at Nachanahalli in an operation carried out this morning.

The reclaimed land forms part of 8 acres and 2 guntas in Survey No. 21 of Nachanahalli village in Mysuru taluk. While MDA officials estimated the value of the reclaimed portion at around Rs. 1.5 crore, its current market value is said to exceed Rs. 4 crore.
