Mysuru, Aug. 28 -- The 7th Additional District and Sessions Court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of brutally murdering a man for revenge.
The convict is 38-year-old Basavaraju, a resident of Sharadadevinagar while the deceased is Anand, who was residing in No. 129 at Unnathi Suites Service Apartment in Kuvempunagar G & H Block. On Mar. 6, 2020 at about 3 am, Basavaraju, who went to the apartment, brutally assaulted Anand with a knife, empty beer bottles and other liquor bottles and killed him.
The then Kuvempunagar Inspector G.C. Raju, who had registered a case, conducted investigation and had submitted a charge sheet to the Court.
