Mysuru, June 12 -- Continuing its camp in the city for the second day, the Karnataka Legislature's Sub-ordinate Legislation Committee visited K.R. Hospital on Thursday and reviewed its infrastructure, patient care facilities and service delivery.

During the inspection, the Committee members visited the Emergency Ward, Out-Patient Registration Centre, Drug Stores, Kitchen, Surgical Department and Psychiatry Unit. Issuing a series of directions to improve services and address shortcomings, the members instructed the Hospital authorities to maintain better cleanliness standards and rectify deficiencies that they noticed in certain sections.
