Mysuru, Aug. 5 -- Awareness programme on 'POCSO Act, NDPS Act and The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act' held in city

District Judge and Member-Secretary of Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA) H. Shashidhara Shetty has said it is essential for every public to be aware of law.

He was speaking after inaugurating a legal awareness programme on the topic 'Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS Act) and The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act', organised by KSLSA in association with Judicial Services Department and Mysore Bar Association, at Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala auditorium in city on Monday.
