Mysuru, Oct. 10 -- The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), along with other Urban Local Bodies of the city (Hootagalli City Municipal Council and Srirampura, Bogadi, Rammanahalli and Kadakola Town Panchayats) carried out the second round of mass cleanliness and waste clearance drive along the entire stretch Outer Ring Road today.

The MCC had undertaken the drive under the Central Government's 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign, covering the total Ring Road length of 43 kms, ahead of the grand 11-day Dasara celebrations starting tomorrow (Oct. 11).

The first round of the drive was held on Oct. 1, during which nearly 60 percent of all types of wastes and debris along the Outer Ring Road were cleared, while the remaining 40 percent of wastes and cons...
