Mysuru, Sept. 3 -- MCC seeks comprehensive scientific and engineering study to enhance performance

The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has written to Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE)/JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, seeking a comprehensive scientific and engineering study of the existing Kesare Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and recommendations to improve its performance.

MCC Commissioner M.K. Savitha told Star of Mysore this morning that she, along with a team of officials, visited the Kesare STP yesterday and reviewed its functioning.

The plant plays a crucial role in the city's sanitation and public health infrastructure by treating waste water and preventing pollution, she said.
