Bengaluru, Sept. 27 -- Justice Usha Rani, who was serving as the Principal District and Sessions Judge in Mysuru, was sworn-in as the Additional Judge of Karnataka High Court by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot during the swearing-in ceremony held at the Glass House in Lok Bhavan, here on Friday last.

A native of Belthangady taluk in Dakshina Kannada district, Justice Usha Rani is an alumna of SDB College in Ujire. She is the daughter of late Nemi Raj Shetty, a senior advocate.
