Benglauru, March 16 -- The State Government has formally granted permission for Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) to host Indian Premier League (IPL) matches at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here from Mar. 28.
During a meeting presided by Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwar at Vidhana Soudha this morning, the State Government constituted Expert Committee presented its report outlining the preparedness and compliance measures undertaken.
"Based on the recommendations of the Committee and after reviewing the arrangements, the Home Minister formally accorded approval for the conduct of the upcoming IPL matches at Chinnaswamy Stadium," stated a press release from KSCA Official Spokesperson Vinay Mruthyunjaya.
