Mandya, Aug. 27 -- Implementation of Cauvery Stage 6 Drinking Water Project

Accusing the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) officials of holding a secret meeting in connection with the implementation of 'Cauvery Stage 6 Drinking Water Project' without informing any organisations, irate farmers took the officials to task and asked them to leave the venue of the meeting.

Five BWSSB officials had taken part in the meeting on Cauvery drinking water supply project at Mandya Deputy Commissioner's Office yesterday, when farmers, coming to know of the secret meeting, rushed to the venue and took the officials to task.
