Mysuru, June 10 -- South Western Railway (SWR), Mysuru Division, observed International Level Crossing Awareness Day (ILCAD) - 2026 yesterday in accordance with the directives of the Railway Board.

The observance aimed to create awareness among road users about safe practices at level crossings and to prevent accidents caused by negligence and unsafe crossing habits.

As part of the campaign, an awareness programme was held at Level Crossing Gate No. 04 between Mysuru and Ashokapuram Railway Stations, which was led by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Mudit Mittal, along with Additional Divisional Railway Manager Shammas Hameed and other senior officers.
