Mysuru, Aug. 11 -- Burglars, who broke into a house in Bhugatagalli here, have decamped with gold jewellery worth about Rs. 20 lakh from the house.
The burglary took place at the house of one Harshith Murthy at iBuild Enclave Layout in Bhugatagalli on Bannur Road coming under Mysuru South Police.
Harshith works in Bengaluru and his parents, on Aug. 8, locked the house and had gone to Bengaluru.
When they returned at about 4 pm on Aug. 9, they found the front door forcibly opened and on inspecting the house, they found 214 grams gold jewellery missing and lodged a complaint.
Mysuru South Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
