Mysuru, Sept. 13 -- With Gowri-Ganesha festivals being celebrated tomorrow (Sept. 14), Devaraja, Mandi and Vani Vilas Markets, readymade garments and textiles showrooms witnessed heavy rush this morning as shoppers are making last-minute purchases for the festival.

Prices of flowers, fruits and vegetables have increased with Chrysanthemum (Sevanthige) being sold between Rs. 100 and Rs. 120 per standard length, Mysuru Mallige Rs. 300 for 250 grams, Kanakambra Rs. 100 for 100 grams, Kakada Rs. 100 for 100 grams, Marigold Rs. 80 to Rs. 100 per kg, Rose Rs. 30 to Rs. 40 each, lotus Rs. 30 to Rs. 40 a pair and banana stem Rs. 30 to Rs. 50 a pair.
