Mysuru, Aug. 27 -- In a modified administrative order, the Urban Development Department has ordered the immediate cancellation of all site allotment orders issued by the erstwhile MUDA, now Mysuru Development Authority (MDA), under the controversial 50:50 incentive scheme.

The directive, issued by Urban Development Department Under Secretary K. Latha on Aug. 25, follows key recommendations of a High-Level Technical Committee that reviewed the findings of the Justice P.N. Desai Judicial Commission.

The earlier order, issued on Aug. 19, had cancelled the allotment of 1,100 housing sites valued at Rs. 2,000 crore under the alternative land compensation scheme by MUDA, in violation of the Government order dated March 14, 2023, which barred ...
