Krishnaraja MLA T.S. Srivatsa has said that the State Government has responded positively to his appeal seeking transparency in the controversial 50:50 site allotments made by the erstwhile Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA).
The Government has directed Mysuru Development Authority (MDA) officials and the Deputy Commissioner, who is also the MDA Chairman, to publicly release the complete list of cancelled sites and set up a dedicated helpline for citizens seeking information and assistance.
Srivatsa said, he had earlier written to the Urban Development Department, welcoming the Government's decision to cancel the irregular allotments and urging it to publish the list to ensure transparency.
