Final deadline ends: Abandoned vehicles still remain

The Mysuru City Corporation's (MCC) final deadline to clear hundreds of abandoned vehicles lying rusting along city roadsides has passed, but the vehicles remain where they are, with no sign of the promised towing operation.
The sight of rusting and abandoned vehicles scattered across the city is a cause of embarrassment for tourists visiting Mysuru. Similarly, scrap and abandoned vehicles have remained on roadsides in areas such as Bannimantap for years, inconveniencing motorists and affecting the city's appearance.
