Mysuru, Sept. 17 -- Cultural teams to rehearse together

Cultural performances during Dasara Jumboo Savari will be presented in a more systematic manner this year, with artistes and teams performing the same art form being asked to rehearse together for a coordinated presentation.

This was decided at Dasara Executive Committee meeting held at Zilla Panchayat Hall yesterday, chaired by Urban Development and Mysuru District Minister Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah.

The Minister said that multiple teams presenting the same art form should rehearse together to ensure uniformity during the procession. As a prelude to Yuva Sambhrama, a cultural programme by college students, will be held from Sept. 28 to Oct. 5 at the Open Air Theatre in Manasagan...
